Skimo Canada Training Camp

2023 Canadian Skimo Team Training Camp:

Who is invited:

All members of the Canadian National Ski Mountaineering Team are encouraged to attend! Non-team members interested in competing on the 2023 World Championships Team should also attend.

All attendees (including team members) must fill out the form below so we can prepare!

What to expect:

This training camp will serve two purposes:

1) Allow for selection of the 4th and final Canadian team spots at the 2023 World Championships. The first three spots will be selected at the SMCC Castle Mountain Race. This training camp/selection event is your only other opportunity to qualify to attend worlds.

2) Training camp to improve downhill ski and sprint race tactics for all team members.

Schedule:

Saturday AM: Downhill Ski Practice at KHMR.
Saturday PM: Sprint Course Review and VERTICAL RACE.
Sunday AM: Sprint Course Practice.
Sunday PM: SPRINT RACE

What’s expected:

Cost will be announced shortly. This will primarily be the KHMR lift tickets for two days. Filling out this form is only an expression of interest and not a commitment to attend. Attendance is confirmed when camp fee is paid.

All participants MUST complete the form below to join. All participants will be required to sign a waiver.
