Full Time Coaching

For runners who are looking to kick it up a notch. Our one-on-one program is appropriate for any runner who’s striving to take the next step in their training and racing.

Whether that means cracking top ten, standing on a podium, or tackling a new and daunting distance, we can help you make it happen!

Monthly coaching fee of $325.00 (+ 5% BC GST)
-Approximately equivalent to $260 USD-

Each week you will be provided with a personalized training plan detailing daily workouts via our Training Peaks software. Your training plan is optimized specifically to meet your running goals.

Unlimited one-on-one email follow-ups allow us to monitor your training progress, and to prescribe the exact workouts that allow you to reap the greatest benefits.

Twice-monthly phone calls allow a more in-depth discussion about training, training concepts and our coaches’ wealth of ultra experience from fuelling and nutrition down to shoe selection and blister care.

Absolutely all abilities and experience levels are welcomed and accepted. We use Training Peaks software to communicate with all our athletes. This software is easy to use and compatible with Coros, Suunto, Garmin, and other training devices. Signing up is free and just takes a minute.

We currently work as a group of six coaches. When you submit your application, we’ll match you with the coach best suited for your training history and goals. If that coach has a full roster, we’ll offer an alternative option or our best estimate until a spot is available (wait-list). It’s in our best interest to match you with the best fitting coach! What makes Ridgeline unique?

While most coaching services provide direct one to one interactions between a single coach and single athlete, we’re attempting to use a collective coaching strategy. We still assign athletes to a “primary coach” but the coaching team works together to develop training plans and strategies. Each coach on our team has been selected for a particular strength they bring to the team. If an athlete needs help in that area, our coaches can lean on each other for support.

This collective coaching strategy means athletes are better supported, better prepared, and have a better network to communicate within!

Runner requirements:

  • Complete a training history questionnaire.
  • Maintain an up-to-date training log during the training season.
  • Provide up-to-date email feedback to coaches on training, schedule and races.

*The fine print:

Because it takes a little while to get up to speed and start seeing results, we ask that our athletes join with a six month minimum commitment in mind. Life happens of course and we don’t enforce this, it’s just a reminder that it takes time to establish a good relationship and develop results!

New athletes will incur a $125.00 set-up fee that is charged upon confirming starting training.

Coaching fee does not include 5% BC GST.
